• From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
• Click Classic View.
• Open Network and Sharing Center.
• Click Set up a connection or network.
• Select Manually connect to a wireless network and click Next.
• If you see the Choose a Wireless Adapter screen, choose Wireless Network
Connection from the drop-down menu and click Next.
• Type MizzouWireless in the Network Name box.
• Choose WPA2-Enterprise from the Security type drop-down menu and click Next. (Do
not choose WPA Personal.)
• Click Change connection settings.
• Click the Security tab.
• Click Settings.
• Below Trusted Root Certification Authorities place a check next to VeriSign Trust
Network.
• Click Configure.
• Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name & password.
• Click OK twice.
• Click Connection tab
• Select MizzouWireless and click Connect.
• Click Enter/select additional log on information.
• Type YourPawPrint in the User name box and YourPassword in the Password box.
• In the Logon domain box, students type tigers; faculty/staff type umc-users
hospital/health employees type umhs-users; UM System employees type um-users.
• Click OK.
• From the Start menu, select Control Panel.
• Click Classic View.
• Open Network and Sharing Center.
• Select Manage wireless networks.
• Double-click on MizzouWireless.
• Make sure your setting are as follows:
Checked – Connect Automatically when this network is in range
Unchecked – Connect to a more preferred network if available
Checked – Connect even if the network is not broadcasting
