Print Anywhere allows users to print to most PrintSmart printers on campus from personal computers. It is available on the MU Ready CD and can be downloaded from the IATS web site. More information is available on our site under PrintSmart.

The web browser Mozilla Firefox is now available on all computer managed by the HSL Computing Lab.

Microsoft AntiSpyware is now available on all computers managed by the HSL Computing Lab

Adobe Acrobat Professional is now available on all the HSL Computing Lab scanner workstations.

Adobe Acrobat Designer is now available on all the HSL Computing Lab scanner workstations.

Adobe Acrobat Distiller is now available on all the HSL Computing Lab scanner workstations.

With the installation of new computers this summer we have continued with our phasing out of floppy drives and Zip drives. These are still available on 36 PCs in the Health Sciences Library and the 6 PCs in the Medical Student Lounge. CD-RW drives are now available on all computers except for 3 in the Medical Student Lounge.

We will soon have a couple of PCs equipped with DVD burner drives. These will be avialable on an appointment only basis. Use of this equipment will be limited to academic related activities. Use of this equipment for non-academic activities will be prohibited.
